10/28/2006: Female paired with male. Mating was very fast - no more than 5 minutes total from the time he was introduced to the time I removed him from her tank. The male immediately began drumming / bouncing when he was introduced. They came together once and an insertion was believed to have been seen. Female was aggressive towards the end and struck at the male, but he escaped unharmed.
