07/26/2006: Male placed into female's container. Male was facing away from female and drummed on the wall of the container. Over the course of 5-10 minutes, the female returned the drumming, and slowly worked her way towards the male. When she was practically on top of him (from behind), he quickly turned and got into position. Mating was very brief - they were together less than a minute. The female attempted to attack the male upon release and they were separated.
10/20/2006: Abdomen looks very large, and has grown over the past month or so. Female has been eating well, but has not been "power-fed."
01/03/2007: Abdomen continues to grow. Female has been digging in enclosure.
